（八打靈再也）第二團出發到“雲南、貴州的愛心助學探訪團”開始接受報名，歡迎助學者與家人一起探訪“星洲日報讀者愛心助學計劃”的受助學生，名額有限，報名從速。
“雲南、貴州愛心助學探訪團”將於11月30日，從吉隆坡國際機場出發到昆明，並於12月7日從貴州返馬，每人團費為3880令吉（團費包括往返機票、機場稅、簽證、中國內陸的交通、住宿與膳食費）。
星洲日報每年都會主辦探訪團，到中國的助學地區進行實地考察，與受助學生交流，以進一步了解他們的生活環境與需要。希望通過這項活動，讓助學者與受助的學生可以近距離地接觸，並建立起更親近的關係。
10月30日截止報名
有興趣者，歡迎10月30日前報名。
另外，有興趣報名10月27日至11月2日的“安徽愛心助學團”者，可於9月30日前報名。除了發放助學金及家訪貧童，此團也將安排到中國四大佛教名山之一的九華山觀光。九華山是地藏菩薩的道場，以佛教文化習俗和奇麗的自然風光享譽海內外，享有“國際性佛教道場”美譽。
“星洲日報讀者愛心助學計劃”中小學生的助學費一年400令吉；大學生的則是一年1600令吉。扣除了20元人民幣給有關學校供作郵寄費和行政費之外，餘額將直接交到受助學生手上。當受助學生完成一定程度的學業；或家庭經濟好轉；或社區達到自給自足後，便會終止助學。

I am very interested in adopting one child, my question is, can i adopt 1 child together with my sister?

Yes, I believe you can adopt a child together with your sister, both of you can contribute RM400 for their education fees (Primary or Secondary) or RM1600 for University.
I have adopted a child last year, contributed only RM400. It’s pity and sad when you read and know how the life of those poor kids. We are indeed very fortunate to be staying in Malaysia.

Hi, i am interested to adopt a child (primary). but i do not know how. i do have some query as follow:
1. How do i know which child i adopted?
2. Can i choose a child from my specified country?
3. Is it the contribution money be pay monthly basis? or yearly basis.

Hi Racheal,
To answer your questions:-
1. As I know, the Sin Chew will randomly select an eligible child to receive your contribution and he/she will become your sponsored child.
2. There are currently 2 countries that Sin Chew is having the children love caring education sponsor project. i.e China and Cambodia.
3. There are 2 types of contributions available and are paid yearly. One is RM400 to sponsor a child to study in primary/secondary schools. 2nd type is RM1600 to sponsor a child to study in University.

i’m interested to sponsor a child from primary school. What can i do in order start the sponsor? and who can i contact to?
between, is currently only can sponsor for their education ? or still got others such as food and beverages?
